My experience with neighborhood councils and my long involvement in the San Fernando Valley allows me to represent the community’s perspective on LADWP’s operations and programs. As Commissioner, I use that experience to promote excellent customer service by LADWP as well as ensuring transparency and accountability to the ratepayers.
LADWP is an impactful agency and brings many economic and equity benefits to our city. As a member of the Board, I will continue to create more opportunities for women and minorities to join and thrive within the LADWP workforce, not only to provide jobs, but also to build gender diversity in the largest municipal utility in the nation.
